1. The Piedmont Rape Crisis Center, which serves Barrow, Banks and Jackson counties, has moved.  See more details. 

2. Barrow County Schools shared a link to a newsletter with highlights about the system having received two Georgia Association of School Personnel Administration (GASPA) Best in Class Awards, and a breakdown of student enrollment and demographics.

3. Are you caring for a loved one with Alzheimer’s disease or related dementias? Make plans to join the Athens Community Council on Aging (ACCA) at Winder Adult Day Health located at 63 Lee Street for the next caregiver luncheon on Friday, June 28 at noon.

4. From puppet shows to arts and crafts workshops, the Auburn Public Library is offering a variety of programs for kids this summer.

5. The Winder Library will host a magical safari book exploration on June 27 for children to learn about tarantulas, scorpions, several snakes, giant millipedes and other creatures.
