Sheriff's Office Investigating Homicide
A 24-year-old Statham man was found dead in his home Tuesday morning.
The Barrow County Sheriff's Office (BCSO) is investigating the Nov. 19 death of a 24-year-old Statham man as a homicide.
The man, whose identity has not been released, was found dead inside his Kirkland Circle home around 8 a.m. Tuesday morning. A family member who lives at the residence discovered the body.
"Sheriff’s Investigators are currently investing the case as they are searching the scene for forensic evidence, interviewing potential witnesses, and following leads," a BCSO press release stated.
The Sheriff's Office has not released the cause of death and no suspect information is yet available.
Officials add, "The investigation is, however, rapidly evolving and more information will be released when it becomes available."
