So, the Winder City Administrator was suspended recently for 3 days due to his unethical decision to have a Winder City Councilman's property cleaned up by city crews ..The Winder Police Chief, Assistant Chief and Patrol Commander were escorted out of the city administrative building yesterday - suspended until allegations of some type of officer fitness test cover-up are investigated...The Code Enforcement Officer's head is on the chopping block  for not agreeing with the City Administrator...Downtown Winder looks like a ghost town...The recently purchased $58,000 "Welcome to Winder" electronic sign no longer works...Traffic's still a mess...And, Winder's reputation as a "business unfriendly" city seems to be growing...The incumbent councilman's most recent political ad says, "Please keep the progress going..."
