Job description: Under limited supervision, performs technical and administrative work in the design, installation, support, and maintenance for the MIS Department. Work involves interaction with other MIS staff supporting the organizational policies and goals therefore ensuring proper function of Barrow County information processing systems, including, but not limited to, the local area network (LAN); establishing and maintaining LAN security, and security documentation and procedures.
Qualifications: Requires a Bachelor’s degree in computer science or computer technology with five to six years of experience in network administration / systems support; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Must have a valid state driver’s license.
