Barrow Regional Medical Center Hiring

The hospital posted three new employment opportunities Thursday, June 20.

The hospital is accepting applications for the following positions: 

Director of cardiopulmonary — Manages the provision of Cardiopulmonary Services and Sleep Lab to the neonate/infant, pediatric, adult and geriatric populations for the purposes of achieving definite outcomes that maintain and/or improve their quality of life. Ensures that diagnostic services are provided to all populations mentioned, and that JCAHO, federal, state and local requirements are met or exceeded. Neonates and pediatric experience is required. Pulmonary Mechanics, CMS and lab experience is preferred.  Associates degree required. Must have the following certifications:  RRT, CRT, RCP, BLS, ACLS, NRP. Click here to apply. 

Director of risk management — Directs and coordinates the hospital-wide (including hospital owned physician practices and clinics) Risk Management Program in compliance with federal, state, and corporate regulations.  Integrates the Risk Management Program with the hospital’s primary functions. Coordinates activities related to claims management and resolution. Actively participates in the education program to promote staff knowledge and understanding of risk management, loss prevention and regulatory compliance issues. Ensures compliance with regulatory agencies. Fulfills the role of HIPAA security official.  Enhances professional growth and development. Licensing as a Health Care Risk Manager is required. Prior experience in risk management is preferred and a clinical or allied health background is required, with a minimum of three to five years of hospital experience. Assistant ED director — Assistant to the director of  the ED in areas such as, but not limited to, scheduling of shifts for staff, Scorecard Data input, staff education and assisting in future accrediation processes. Applicants must have a current GA RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS and TNCC and previous experience as a supervisor/charge nurse, scheduling, chart abstractions, team leading. Click here to apply.
