I'm a lifelong resident of Northeast Georgia and a proud Liberal.  As a former banker and businessman I am very concerned about the state of our national economy, and especially the plight of our disappearing middle class.

I'm a Conservatives worst nightmare; a god fearing, gun owning, white wine hating, flag loving, constitution toting, Liberal with a good deal of business sense and a passion for facts. There's is nothing I enjoy more than a friendly debate.

As a Patch blogger I welcome your comments and look forward to getting to know each of you. I believe strongly that people are the solution to all of our problems and that everyone should have a voice.

Brian - You are a prolific writer and not afraid to make your case.

Though I find myself on the other side of the fence about 60 percent of the time, that means I find myself on your side about 40, especially with respect to Athens. Just thought I'd drop a note thanking you for the educational opportunity.

I am working on a feature film that is helping a great

cause as well as offering people the opportunity to get involved
