She is a native of Georgia who grew up in neighboring Jackson County, attending  elementary, middle and high school there.  After high school she earned a bachelor&#39;s degree in education from Brenau University and a master&#39;s degree from North Georgia College and State University. Amanda married in 2006 and welcomed her little girl in 2008. She enjoys all thing related to homemaking and motherhood. She and her family live with their two rescued dogs, Bella and Samson, as well as numerous fish.
