Bethlehem Resident Charged with Child Molestation
The suspect's sister is charged with simple battery and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
A Bethlehem resident is facing child molestation charges after a 15-year-old told a school resource officer she was given alcohol at the suspect's residence and awoke to him touching her. The teen accused the suspect of getting her drunk, then trying to put his hands down her pants. The alleged incidents occured in 2012. Lonnie Shane Peppers, 28, of the 900 block of David Ave. in Bethlehem, was arrested Feb. 7, 2013, and is charged with three counts of child molestation, aggravated sexual battery, sexual battery against a child under 18, two counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor and cruelty to children.
