Additional Properties Along Exchange Boulevard to Become Part of Winder
The city continues its expansion to Ga. Highway 316.
Members of the Winder City Council voted Tuesday, Jan. 8, to annex several properties into the city limits, including five along Exchange Boulevard. Exchange Boulevard, a roadway that runs parallel to Ga. Highway 316, includes the future site of Gateway Station, a 14,000-square-foot development currently under construction. The following are descriptions of each of the properties along Exchange Boulevard, and all were approved for annexation and rezoning by council members: The city council previously vote to annex and rezone five properties along Exchange Boulevard in early December, including the property where Athens Regional First Care, an urgent health care facility, is located.
