Facebook Photos Lead to Florida Man's Arrest — Think Twice Before You Try to Ride a Manatee and Before You Share Pictures

If convicted, the man faces a $500 fine and a maximum of 60 days in jail after posting photos of himself and two kids petting, lifting and sitting on a manatee calf.

Do either of these tidbits surprise you — first, that a Florida man was arrested based on photos he posted on Facebook, or that it's illegal to injure, harm, harass, capture or attempt to capture a Florida manatee?  If convicted of said crimes against a manatee, Ryan William Waterman, 21, of Ft. Pierce, Fla., is facing a $500 fine and a maximum of 60 days in jail. The Huffington Post reports Waterman shared photos of himself and two kids petting, lifting and sitting on a manatee calf on the social media site. Real-Life Barbie and Ken Apparently Not a Match Made in Plastic Heaven

Life in pretend plastic is no-so-fantastic for real life versions of the quintessential doll couple.

"Real-life" dolls Valeria Lukyanova and Justin Jedlica won't be moving into Barbie's Dreamhouse any time soon to live happily ever after in the Barbie world.  The Inquisitr reports a meeting between two, who have both used plastic surgery and makeup to achieve doll-like looks purporting themselves as real-life Barbie and Ken, didn't go well. Man Says Wife Bloodied Him With Shovel for Name-Calling

It wasn't Prince Charming, but rather Oconee County Sheriff's deputies, who found her sandal and then later the woman. She was hiding in the nearby woods, covered in leaves and sticks.
