The application had received intense opposition from residents in the surrounding community as well as officials in Loganville.
Loganville city officials withdrew a proposed resolution in support of Loganville residents' opposition to a transitional home for troubled youth Thursday after learning the applicant had withdrawn his proposal. The home was proposed for a property on Hodges Road in Loganville, just outside the city limits. The Walton County Planning Commission was scheduled to hear the proposal at 6 p.m. Thursday and it was then to go before the Walton County Board of Commissioners on Jan. 8, 2013.
