The city of Winder will celebrate its 64th annual Christmas parade Saturday, Dec. 15. Santa Claus himself will be part of the parade, also featuring local businesses and organizations traveling through downtown Winder. The parade will step off at 11 a.m. from Ingles and travel south on Broad before turning left on Athens Street and dispersing at Jug Tavern Park. Vendors will be selling food and hot drinks along the parade route and the fun's not over when the parade ends — children can have their pictures taken with Santa at the Winder gazebo.
