He is a 4-year-old, yellow lab. His favorite toys are large sticks, small branches, leaf blowers and radio-controlled cars. His favorite treats are Pup-Peronis. The most unique thing about Buddy is that he thinks he is a real child and loves to sit in mom and dad's lap just like his human brothers. He loves to tree birds. He practices this all the time. He stands on point and barks at the tree forever even though there is no bird in it. But practice makes perfect. …

She was born July 6, 2008. Missi was rescued by her current family when she was 6 weeks old. She lives in Winder with her mom Donna, dad John and sister Ashley. Missi's favorite toy is a stuffed "tick" from PetSmart. She has pulled all the stuffing out of it and it's been sewn back in for her a dozen times! This week, meet the two furry children who keep Barrow Patch Local Editor and Winder resident Deanna Allen company while she's working from home. Buster is a 3-year-old American bulldog and will celebrate his fourth birthday Feb. 18, 2012. His little brother, Louie, is a Boxer bulldog and is just shy of his second birthday on Sept. 21. Both dogs love playing tug-of-war with ropes and are especially fond of tearing squeakers out of any toys that makes noise.
