Man Stabbed, Nobody Notices — Tucker Patch A man who was stabbed repeatedly at a Fellowship Road apartment full of people had to make a phone call for outside help because nobody noticed or came to his aid. Police responded to a call on Dec. 9 at around 8:30 p.m. from the victim's brother and on arrival found a man on the floor of the apartment's back porch, "with his shirt open, his cell phone in his left hand, a twenty dollar bill on the ground ... and empty beer cans all around him," a police incident report stated. Dog Travels 6,800 Miles Hoping For New Home — Decatur Patch Gordy is a 4-year old Egyptian street dog who was abandoned in Cairo this fall and spent five days patiently waiting in the same spot downtown where he was dumped. Car Crashes Through Front of Home — Dacula Patch A home on Vista Creek Drive in the Hamilton Mill subdivision of Dacula was damaged after being struck by a car shortly after midnight on Dec. 15. According to Sgt. Brian Doan of the Gwinnett County Police Department, the vehicle struck a non-load-bearing wall.
