Rep. Terry England Appointed to National Committee
The state legislator, who represents portions of Barrow County, will serve on the National Conference of State Legislatures Environment Committee.
State Representative Terry England (R-Winder) was recently appointed to serve on the National Conference of State Legislatures' Environment Committee by House Speaker David Ralston. NCSL is a bipartisan organization that serves legislators and staffs from all 50 states, and the Environment Committee is one of NCSL’s 12 standing committees. According to a news release, these standing committees serve an important role in representing state interests in Washington, D.C., and in facilitating policy innovation among state legislatures.
