Larry Mrozinski, chairman of the GAGOP Veterans Outreach, is the scheduled guest speaker for tonight's meeting of the Barrow County Republican Party. The meeting will be held at 7:30 p.m. at the Winder Woman's Club. The event may include additional speakers, and the public is invited to attend. This Saturday, Aug. 18, the Barrow County Republican Party will host its 19th annual barbecue. The event will begin at 5 p.m. and will be held at the Winder Lions Club. Tickets are $15 for adults, $7.50 for children ages 6 to 12 and free for children 5 and younger. U.S. Rep. Rob Woodall, State Insurance Commissioner Ralph Hudgens, Public Service Commissioner nominee Chuck Eaton and other 2012 Republican candidates have been invited to attend. Music will be provided by the Yargo Community Band and the food will be catered by Fresh Air BBQ. Sponsorships are available.
