Barrow County Republicans to Hold Annual Barbecue This Weekend
Tickets are $15 for adults, $7.50 for children ages 6 to 12 and free for children 5 and younger.
This Saturday, Aug. 18, the Barrow County Republican Party will host its 19th annual barbecue. The event will begin at 5 p.m. and will be held at the Winder Lions Club. Tickets are $15 for adults, $7.50 for children ages 6 to 12 and free for children 5 and younger. U.S. Rep. Rob Woodall, State Insurance Commissioner Ralph Hudgens, Public Service Commissioner nominee Chuck Eaton and other 2012 Republican candidates have been invited to attend. Music will be provided by the Yargo Community Band and the food will be catered by Fresh Air BBQ. Sponsorships are available. Republican Party to Host Candidate Forum Tonight at Bramlett Elementary
The forum will begin at 7 p.m. and is the second of three forums hosted by the Barrow County Republican Party.
The Barrow County Republican Party will host the second of three candidate forums leading up to the July 31 General Primary, and the public is invited to attend. A forum is scheduled for 7 p.m. today at Bramlett Elementary School in Auburn. Candidates for the Barrow County Board of Education at-large seat for District 8, candidates for Barrow County Chief Magistrate, State House District 114 and State Senate District 47 are expected to attend. Candidate Forums Set to Begin Monday, June 25
The public is invited to attend one or all three planned candidate forums hosted by the Barrow County Republican Party.
The Barrow County Republican Party will host three upcoming candidate forums, and the public is invited to attend. The first will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, June 25, at the Winder Cultural Arts Center. U.S. Rep. Paul Broun will be the first speaker. Broun is seeking re-election to the new 10th U.S. District, which beginning January 2013 will include all of Barrow County. Candidates for New State House Districts to Speak in Winder
The Barrow County Republican Party will host the candidates during its monthly meeting Monday, May 21.
Two candidates for new state house districts representing portions of Barrow County will speak in Winder on Monday. The Barrow County Republic Party will host Regina Quick, candidate for new State House District 117, which includes the Statham area, and State Rep. Tom Kirby, candidate for new State House District 114, which includes the Apalachee High School area, beginning at 7:30 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Winder Woman's Club, and the public is invited to attend.
