Man Burned by Suspected Meth Lab Fire Remains Hospitalized — Oconee Patch An Oconee County man who was flown to an Atlanta hospital for treatment of burns to his face authorities believe were caused by a small-scale methamphetamine lab explosion remains hospitalized. Oconee County Sheriff Scott Berry said Wednesday that charges have not been filed against the man but they are pending. Oconee Fire and Rescue personnel were called to a house in the 1000 block of East Haven Trail just before 11 p.m. on Feb. 14 in response to a kitchen fire, according to a report.
