Winder Police Make Arrest in Armed Robbery Case

The robbery occurred Jan. 19 at Best Package Store in Winder.

A Monroe man is facing charges related to the Jan. 19 armed robbery of a Winder package store.  The Winder Police Department arrested 25-year-old Scott Dujvan Hazel on Friday, March 8. He is charged with one count of armed robbery.  Hazel was arrested after police circulated still photos from surveillance video from Best Package Store and received information from the public identifying Hazel as the suspect.  The Winder Police Department thanks the public for assisting in the investigation. Winder Police Searching for Armed Robbery Suspect

The department is asking for the public's help in identifying the male suspect.

The Winder Police Department is seeking the public’s help in locating a suspect in a weekend armed robbery.  At 1:47 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 19, officers responded to a package store on McNeal Road, where a black male described as having a large build wearing all dark clothing, sunglasses and a stocking hat brandished a handgun and demanded money from the employee. The male is also described as having a well-groomed, goatee-style beard.  The suspect left the store on foot with approximately $350 to $400 in cash and headed toward a shopping center parking lot across the street.  Anyone with information regarding the identity of this individual or other information regarding this incident is asked to call Detective Wayne Samples at 770-867-2156…

Sheriff's Office Releases Additional Photos of Suspects in Bethlehem Dollar General Armed Robbery

The department has also released photos of potential witnesses to the crime.

The Barrow County Sheriff's Office is continuing its search for three suspects in the Nov. 27 armed robbery of the Bethlehem Dollar General store.  To aid in the investigation, the agency has released additional photos of the suspects, as well as photos of possible witnesses.  Anyone who has information regarding the identity of the suspects or witnesses is urged to contact the Criminal Investigations Division by calling 770-307-3080, ext. 3083. E-mails may also be sent to the case investigator at ttaylor@barrowsheriff.com. Do You Recognize These Individuals? Suspects Sought in Armed Robbery of Bethlehem Dollar General

Images from the store’s video surveillance are being released to the public in hopes of identifying the suspects.

Three unidentified black males entered the Dollar General store in Bethlehem about 10 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 27, and committed armed robbery, according to a news release issued by the Barrow County Sheriff's Office. The suspects threatened the cashier and fled with an undisclosed amount of money.   The suspects' faces were partially concealed during the crime, and images from the store’s video surveillance are being released to the public in hopes of identifying the suspects. According to the news release, the cashier was cleaning the store and preparing to close when the three men entered and one grabbed her by the neck and forced her to the ground. Winder Police Searching for Suspect in Armed Robbery

The robbery occured just after 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 25, at the KFC.

Winder police are asking the public for information on an armed robbery that occured Wednesday, May 25, at a local fast-food restaurant. The robbery occured just after 10:30 a.m. at the KFC. The suspect was captured on store surveillance video and is described as a black male in his early- to mid-30s, approximately 6-feet tall, with a thin build, wearing all dark clothing and sunglasses at the time of the robbery. Police said the suspect brandished a knife and pushed an employee into an office while he took an undisclosed amount of cash from the store’s safe.
