I would not give it a one star but had to pick one. Was a good restaurant when first open. The place has gone down hill. Service is slow. Food is bad. My family was treated unkindly there. I like to keep my money in Barrow but until El Comino opens back up I will have to go to Hamilton Mill for Mexican. Will never go back to El Centinela.

Horrible service and the quality of food is poor for the price. This used to be a really good place to go, but over the past year it has drastically changed.
Staff acts like it puts them out to serve you, inconsistent pricing, and large bones in shredded chicken.
Food is good, prices are getting higher. Service has gotten worse. Had a 3 inch long bone in a taco salad and they didn't even comp anything! Will not go back.
We're regulars. Although the service can be hit or miss, they serve great food at very reasonable prices. Best local Mexican food you can find.

Have heard a lot of negative things but we have not had a bad experience yet. Service can be quite irregular but we never have to wait too long and they have always treated us with respect and kindness. The price is ALWAYS different depending on who is ringing it up lol but oh well its just by a dollar or two! Food has always been great.
