Auburn Dental Center Celebrates 'Give Kids a Smile' Day This Week

A local dentist is taking part in the national American Dental Association campaign to provide dental services to children without dental insurance Friday, Feb. 3.

On the first Friday in February each year, needy children and their families have a very special reason to smile.

As it commemorates its 10th anniversary of “Give Kids a Smile” Day, the American Dental Association is proud to once again partner with thousands of dentists across the nation to provide free oral health care services to children from low-income families without dental insurance.

This year, it is estimated that more than 9,500 dentists and 29,000 volunteers will take part in “Give Kids a Smile” Day on Friday, Feb. 3, 2012. Collectively, they are expected to serve more than 405,000 kids over the course of the day. Barrow Patch is proud to announce that one of the dentists taking part in “Give Kids a Smile” Day is located right here in Barrow County — Auburn Dental Center.
