"Mirror Mirror" Premieres at Braselton's Movie in the Park

Relativity Media's Snow White redux starring Julia Roberts and Nathan Lane will delight movie goers at Braselton Park on Saturday, July 21.

This Saturday, July 21 under a sea of stars, the Town of Braselton raises the curtain on a modern retelling of the classic fairytale, Snow White. Starring movie veterans Julia Roberts (Evil Queen) and Nathan Lane (Brighton, the Queen’s henchman), relative newcomers Lily Collins (Snow White) and Armie Hammer (Prince Alcott), and an exceedingly talented band of dwarves, Mirror Mirror provides a fresh take on a story that first hit the scene in Germany when published by the Brothers Grimm in 1812.

In this latest version created for the big screen, director Tarsem Singh uses breathtaking scenery and some well-spiced comedy to weave the tale of an evil queen who seizes control of a once happy kingdom and the courageous young princess who enlists the aid of seven daring dwarves to win back her birthright, as well as the heart of a handsome prince. Mirror Mirror is rated PG.

As always, admission to "Movies in the Park" is free to attendees and the show begins at dusk. Families are encouraged to bring chairs or blankets to Braselton Park to enjoy the kid-friendly entertainment presented courtesy of the Braselton Visitors Bureau Authority and the Braselton CID.
