Bring a Beach Chair to Braselton's 'Mysterious Island'

Under the magical glow of the starry night sky and an inflatable movie screen, guests of Braselton Park will be transported to a mysterious island during the town’s first Movie in the Park for 2012.

On Saturday, June 16, the town of Braselton plays host to New Line Cinemas’ "Journey 2: The Mysterious Island" starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, teen heartthrob Josh Hutcherson of "The Hunger Games", the beautiful Vanessa Hudgens from "High School Musical" fame and veteran movie actor Michael Caine. In this entertaining, action-packed sequel to "Journey to the Center of the Earth," Sean Anderson (Hutcherson) partners with his mom's husband (Johnson) on a mission to find his grandfather (Caine), who is thought to be missing on a mythical island.

The movie starts at dusk, but guests are welcome to arrive early and bring beach chairs, blankets and picnic baskets.

Also happening in Braselton the evening of June 16, Year One will host a car show from 5 to 9 p.m.
