Barrow County Schools officials are continuing to investigate an incident in which a bus driver dragged a student by her backpack past her bus stop.

The school system said Wednesday that reports of the bus driver being on a phone at the time of the incident are false based on a review of the on-board video recording system and speaking with students in direct contact with the driver.
The incident remains under investigation.
