Local Private School Sees Record Enrollment

Bethlehem Christian Academy continues to grow in enrollment, academic advancement, athletic development and spiritual and character offerings.

Bethlehem Christian Academy has set a record for enrollment for the 2012-13 school year.

According to a news release, office staff processed admissions well into the first week, setting a record of 440 students.

The private, Christian school serves students in pre-K through high school and offers academic advancement, athletic development, spiritual and character offerings and a growing enrichment program.

The school has dual accreditation by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and the Association of Christian Schools International, and the school was accepted into the Georgia Independent Schools Association in 2011-12. Bethlehem Christian Academy offers advanced placement classes for the second year, complemented by the launch of a National Honor Society chapter granted to the school in the spring of 2012.

Recent grant and donation funding totaling $95,000 will be put toward a new gymnasium and high school building. The facility will house an athletic program, including a full offering of sports opportunities of football, volleyball, softball, basketball, tennis, golf, cheerleading and baseball.
