Early Dismissal Planned for Barrow County Schools
Schools will let out early due to the winter storm warning.
Barrow County Schools will send students home early on Jan. 28 due to the bad weather expected to develop throughout the day. A notice posted on the Barrow County Schools website states:
The Barrow County School System will dismiss middle and high school students at 11:30, elementary students at 12:30 and employees at 1:00 today based on the updated weather information. All after school and evening activities are cancelled. The BOE Work Session is cancelled for this evening and has been rescheduled for Thursday, January 30 at 6:00 PM.
