Barrow School System Receives Career Academy Grant

AccessNorthGa.com reports Barrow County is one of four Georgia counties set to receive a grant from the Georgia College and Career Academy Project.

Lt. Gov. Casey Cagle and state Sen. Johnny Grant announced the grant Monday.

The academies offer advanced educational opportunities for high school students through partnerships with local school systems, institutes of higher learning, technical college and local businesses.
