Barrow County Schools Make Statement on Weather

Barrow County Schools issued this statement on the approaching weather's impact on school activities.

Inclement WeatherBarrow County School System officials are closely monitoring weather conditions for Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday of this week at this time. At this time we do not anticipate canceling Monday after school activities.We will make a decision concerning school closure for Tuesday, February 11th as soon as possible tonight or early Tuesday morning as weather forecasts and models become more stable. In the event of school closure we will notify parents, staff and our community through Parent link phone calls, Twitter and Facebook, and newspaper, TV and radio announcements.Please check back often for updates.
