A county school bus driver has been placed on administrative leave following the incident.
A Barrow County school bus driver has been placed on administrative leave after dragging a 5-year-old student about 40 feet past her bus stop, according to a report by 11 Alive News.
The station reports the student, Alexis Luvell, had just gotten off the school bus Friday, Sept. 9, when her backpack got caught in the bus doors.
