Readers' Choice: Antiques Store

Where do you shop for the best antique finds in Barrow County?

Patch is compiling the best of Barrow. We want to know where you love to shop, eat, take your kids and which local businesses you just can’t live without. We want to know, and so do your neighbors!

Winners will be determined solely based on poll votes. Because this is a contest, you’ll need to create a Patch login vote. You'll find contest rules in a PDF to the right of this text underneath the photo.

Voting will end Aug. 17, and the best of Barrow will be announced Aug. 24.

I hate to say it, BUT..... Monroe Ga , just down the road a bit has become the mecca for local antique shoppers. I see many shoppers from Winder area there frequently, and many booths are operated by Barrow residents. Barrow needs to find a way to capture that essence within our boundaries. There are lots of great shops here, but we just do not have the reputation as an antique destination yet. Anyone have any ideas about how to make this happen? We do have a old mill just like they do in Monroe ...what other sites could be utilized ?
