Winder City Council Candidate is Disqualified
The Barrow Journal reports John Perkins has dropped out of the race for an at-large city council seat.
One of three candidates set to vie for an at-large seat on the Winder City Council has been disqualified.
The reports John Perkins, an owner of , dropped out of the race after learning the city special event facility license for his wife's business, , prohibits him from holding an elective office.
