Unofficial Elections Results for Bethlehem and Statham are In

Voters in Bethlehem and Statham headed to the polls Tuesday.

Bethlehem

Incumbent Bethlehem Town Council Member Scott Morgan drew 22 of 49 total votes for the Post 4 council seat, while challengers C. L. Wood Jr. and Doug Koestel drew 15 and 22 votes, respectively.

Mayor Sandy McNab ran unopposed.

Statham

Unoffical results for Statham's city election have Perry Barton and Hattie Thrasher taking the two council seats up for grabs, with Barton drawing 116 votes and Thrasher receiving 114 votes. A third candidate, Rudy Krause, received 71 votes.

City Clerk Susan Gabriel said a total of 178 votes were cast during this election — 154 at the polls and 24 early or absentee votes. 

Mayor Robert Bridges ran unopposed.
