Statham Residents to Vote on Sunday Alcohol Sales on March 6
The Barrow Journal reports the Statham City Council voted this past Tuesday to allow residents to decide on Sunday alcohol sales within city limits.
Barrow residents can purchase packaged beer and wine on Sundays in Auburn and Winder, and now Statham residents can decide if their city will follow suit.
The reports members of the Statham City Council voted 3-2 to allow residents to vote on the issue of Sunday alcohol sales.
Statham residents are set to vote on Sunday alcohol sales on March 6.
