Register to Vote in Primary by Feb. 6

If you plan on voting in Georgia's primary, make sure you are registered to vote by February 6.  

You can register to vote online through the Georgia Secretary of State office.  

According to the Georgia Secretary of State office, you must meet the following requirements to vote:

• Be a citizen of the United States
• Be a legal resident of the county
• Be at least 171/2 years of age to register and 18 years of age to vote
• Not be serving a sentence for conviction of a felony involving moral turpitude
• Have not been found mentally incompetent by a judge

The following candidates will be on the ballot:

• Newt Gingrich
• Ron Paul
• Mitt Romney
• Rick Santorum
