Newly Elected Winder Officials Sworn In

Winder's new mayor was sworn in Thursday, Jan. 5, 2012, along with two new city council members and an incumbent councilman. 

David Maynard took his oath of office as mayor, followed by the swearing in of Ward 4 Councilman-elect Travis Singley and Councilman-at-large-elect Larry Evans.

Ward 2 councilman and incumbent Charlies Eberhart was also sworn in during the ceremony, conducted by the Honorable Judge Penn McWhorter.
