Georgia DOT Testing New Traffic Signal at Intersection of Ga. Highway 211 and McNeal Road in Winder

The new signal will be operational beginning Tuesday, Feb. 28, if testing is successful.


If testing goes well, a new traffic signal at the intersection of Ga. Highway 211 and McNeal Road in Winder will be operational Feb. 28.

The new signal is flashing in test mode now, the Georgia Department of Transportation announced in a news release.

β€œOnce the signal is operational, please use extra caution until you get familiar with the new signal location," Georgia DOT District Traffic Engineer Brent Cook said in the release. "Remember to watch out for other drivers until they get used to the new signal too."
