Congressman Urges Passage of 'Legislative Solutions' to 'Empower Small Businesses'

U.S. Representative Rob Woodall joined 36 of his freshman colleagues in coordinating their efforts to press the Senate to take action on several pieces of legislation they deem pro-job growth.

U.S. Rep. Rob Woodall is calling on the U.S. Senate to take action on more than a dozen pieces of what he deems pro-job growth legislation.

Woodall joined 36 of his freshman colleagues in coordinating their efforts to press the Senate to take action on the following:

“American businesses and taxpayers need the certainty that only a long-term budget can provide — not more of the political theater that comes with budgetary stop-gap measures and showdowns over potential shutdowns,” Woodall stated in a news release. “In the meantime, however, the House has offered over a dozen legislative solutions — currently lying in wait with the Senate — that empower small businesses by removing excessive government regulation, streamlining our tax code, and putting Americans back to work. Think of the good these bills could already be doing if the Senate would just act.”
