Barrow Judge Asks Commissioners for Additional Clerical Help

The Barrow Journal reports that Barrow County Magistrate Court Judge June Davis asked the Barrow County Board of Commissioners for assistance in staffing her office.

The reports that Judge June Davis appeared before county commissioners last week to ask for assistance.

The newspaper reports Davis asked for additional clerical help for her current staff of three or she would be forced to cut services.

Davis told commissioners she could either close the court every Wednesday or have her staff stop answering phones every afternoon at 1 p.m.
