A compromise solution engineered by District 3 Commissioner Steve Worley has resolved the budget dispute between Barrow County Sheriff Jud Smith and the Barrow County Board of Commissioners.
The solution restored most of the Sheriff's funding for the next fiscal year, the Barrow Journal reports.
