Winder Resident Killed in Traffic Accident
The Winder Police Department is investigating the cause of the accident.
A longtime Winder resident was killed May 20 when he was ejected from his vehicle.
Andrew Christopher Stephens, 31, was killed in an accident involving the 2000 Ford Explorer he was driving and a tractor-trailer pulling a heavy piece of construction equipment.
The accident occurred about 5:30 p.m. May 20 on Ga. Highway 11 South just past the Winder Corners shopping center.
