A Winder resident, 21-year-old Alex Brown, was killed Sunday evening when he lost control of the vehicle he was driving, AccessNorthGa.com reports.
According to a news release from , which did not identify the victim, emergency personnel responded at 5:49 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 19, to Hardigree Road and Elder Road for a reported motor vehicle collision. Upon arrival, firefighters found a single vehicle accident in which vehicle was overturned with one individual dead at the scene.
A Georgia State Patrol spokesman told AccessNorthGa.com Brown's vehicle left the roadway, struck a mailbox and a ditch before overturning several times and coming to rest on its top.
