Winder Police Investigating Highway Robbery

The Winder Police Department is looking for possible witnesses to a robbery that occurred June 2.

The is looking for possible witnesses to a robbery that occurred June 2. 

 The victims, a male and a female, were driving along Ga. Highway 11 South at approximately 3:30 p.m. when they were bumped by an older model Ford Crown Victoria. The Crown Victoria is light gray or possibly even white with extremely dark tinted windows and may have a Florida license plate.

Two black males and one white male exited the Crown Victoria wearing tan stockings on their heads and physically attacked the male driver. The suspects then stole an undisclosed amount of cash from both occupants.

Police said the details of the incident are vague at this time and law enforcement is looking for any possible motorists or pedestrians that may have been in the area during the time of the robbery.
