Winder Fire Department Collecting Toys for Children in Need
Firefighters will visit nine subdivisions Saturday, Dec. 10, to collect new toys and cash donations for the Empty Stocking Drive.
The is hoping to fill children's stockings this holiday season through its Empty Stocking Drive.
While donations can be made any time by dropping a toy or cash donation off at the , firefighters, Santa and Sparky, the department mascot, will visit nine subdivisions Saturday, Dec. 10, to collect new toys and cash donations.
The schedule for the drive is as follows:

- 8:30 to 9:15 a.m. — Park Place
- 9:25 to 9:50 a.m. — Windermere
- 9:55 to 10:15 a.m. — Brighton Point
- 10:20 to 10:40 a.m. — Paris Pointe
- 10:45 to 11:05 a.m. — Waverly Place
- 11:10 to 11:40 a.m. — St. Ives
- 11:50 a.m. to 12:35 p.m. — Chestnut Ridge
- 12:45 to 1:25 p.m. — Overlook
- 1:30 to 2:15 p.m. — Bellingrath Plantation
