Winder Business Burglarized but Suspect Appears to Have Gotten Nothing Out of Robbery
A witness reported seeing a suspect run from the building.
A Winder business was broken into about 5 a.m. Friday, Aug. 17, but nothing was reported stolen.
An officer with the responded to , where a witness waiting at the intersection of Wright Street and North Broad Street for a ride to work said he heard a loud crash and looked up to see a black male running from the business.
The officer found the front glass door broken and the cash register drawer open. When the business owner arrived, she determined nothing was missing as the cash was stored in a different location.
