Statham Man Hit by Federal Express Truck Dies

The Athens Clarke County Police have reported that Roger Phillip Glass, III, 28, of Statham, has died from injuries he sustained during a Dec. 27 traffic accident.
Glass was walking on Atlanta Highway near Cleveland Road when a Federal Express 18-wheeler hit him. The accident happened around 10 p.m.
Glass died at Athens Regional Medical Center. No charges have been filed. The investigation continues.
Funeral services for Glass are schedule for Tuesday, Dec. 31 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Lord and Stephens Funeral Home.
