Two Barrow Residents Arrested in Tennessee Reportedly Carrying Suspected Crack Cocaine

One suspect is facing drug-related charges, while the other has been charged with traffic-related offenses.

Two Winder residents were arrested Tuesday, June 18, in Johnson City, Tenn., following a traffic stop for speeding. Police there say they found suspected crack cocaine in the vehicle, according to a Johnson City Press report

Kendrick Lamorris Peppers, 21, of 1071 Sutherland Drive in Winder, was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of a schedule II for resale, possession of a handgun by a convicted felon and introducing contraband into a jail.

Justin Bookwalter, 21, of 1252 Braves Court in Winder, was charged with driving on a revoked license and speeding.
