Traffic Stop Results in Arrests for Underage Consumption of Alcohol

A deputy with the Barrow County Sheriff's Office stopped a vehicle for speeding and arrested the driver and four passengers.

A traffic stop on Dec. 16, 2011, resulted in five arrests on charges of underage consumption and possession of alcohol.

A deputy with the stopped a vehicle for speeding on Ga. Highway 316 near its intersection with Jackson Trail Road in Winder.

According to an incident report, the stop resulted in the arrest of the driver, 19-year-old Eric Ryan Sutor of Duluth, and four passengers, 19-year-old Patrick Allan McAleese of Berkeley Lake, 18-year-old Joseph Michael Proenza of Duluth, 18-year-old Ronald Jackson Kurtz and a passenger under the age of 18.
