Suspected Shoplifter Apparently Wanted Car to Smell Nice
A man reportedly attempted to steal car air fresheners from Walmart.
On Aug. 4, a deputy with the Barrow County Sheriff's Office responded to Walmart in Winder in reference to a shoplifter in custody.
Upon arrival, a loss prevention associate said the man had taken three six-pack containers of in-car air fresheners valued at $13.02. Since the value of the items was less than $25, the loss prevention officer did not wish to prosecute but requested the suspect be served with a notice of prohibited entry form. No arrest was made in this incident.
