Stolen Pet Lizard, Finger-firearms, Donut Truck Crash: Unusual Police Stories of the Week

Strange things happen in Northeast Georgia every day.

Here are some strange things that happened in Northeast Georgia recently:

from a Hamilton Mill home in Dacula. The family pet was apparently the only thing taken from the basement in an overnight burglary last week.

Winder Police confronted a man who had entered a store and asked for an ambulance after allegedly harassing people in the parking lot. When asked why he needed medical care, the man told police, According to officials, he was right: They declined to release him after his blood-alcohol level registered .479.

A man unsatisfied with a cragislist purchase brought both barrels of his finger-firearms to complain to the Dacula seller last week, at the seller's father. The victim of the apparent threat told police the man also pointed at his home and then the sky while speaking in Spanish before leaving the property.

A half-dozen on Lumpkin Street in Winder, some with the words "blood game" and others with a dot inside a triangle.

The Jaws of Life had to be used to remove a driver from on Grayson Highway in Lawrenceville. Both drivers were listed in stable condition.

A runaway SUV rolled from the parking lot of and hit the  back of the building, according to Watkinsville police. The crash caused significant damage to the building.
