Stolen iPhone Located in Barrow using App
An app designed to locate missing phones was used by Gwinnett police to track a stolen iPhone to a Barrow location.
A stolen iPhone was located in Barrow County using an app designed to find missing phones.
The cell phone was reported stolen following a robbery in Gwinnett County, and Gwinnett police were able to track the phone to 312 Dreamland Court in Winder.
On Sept. 13, 2011, a Winder officer accompanied Gwinnett police to the location with a search warrant. A suspect fitting the description of the robber was taken into custody.
