'Problem Neighbor' Reportedly Accuses Woman of Breaking Into Home and Stealing Pickles

Another neighbor said man "doesn't seem mentally stable" and described his behavior as strange.

A group of Bethlehem residents contacted the Barrow County Sheriff's Office on May 25 to report what one man described as strange behavior by a neighbor.

One Centennial Drive resident said the neighbor has been seem shooting a gun in his backyard several times and has allegedly said he will shoot anyone who comes into his yard, drag them into the house and then call 911 and report the incident as a burglary.

"The complainant also said the suspect neighbor doesn't seem mentally stable and described his behavior as strange," the deputy wrote in the incident report.

Another resident said the "problem neighbor" accused his wife of breaking into the neighbor's home and stealing pickles. The resident reportedly said most of the people who live on the street are worried about the situation, but are afraid to speak with law enforcement because the "problem neighbor" is "always watching them."

According to the incident report, no criminal activity was reported and no attempt was made to contact the neighbor.
